    BOARD OF DIRECTORS


The governing body of the New York Atlatl Association, Inc. is the Board of Directors.

The officers (President, Vice President, and Secretary/Treasurer) are elected by the membership at the NYAA, Inc. Annual Fall Meeting, and serve one year terms.

The Trustees include individuals selected by each Affiliate Member Group who serve one year terms, and chairmen for hunting and competition appointed by the Board of Directors who also serve one year terms.

Any member of NYAA, Inc. may serve as an officer or trustee of the corporation.

The duties of the Board of Directors include approving Constitutional or By-Laws amendments, establishing a budget, establishing other operational procedures, purchasing event insurance, overseeing funding, instituting competition rules, establishing the events schedule and sponsorship guidelines, and coordinating efforts to achieve the goals of NYAA, Inc.
