NYAA, INC. NEWS UPDATES
"whispers from the shadows" Sunny and windy days, chilly nights, great camaraderie, and good competition were the highlights of the 8th Annual Environmental Shootout hosted by renegade atlatl and sponsored and insured by NYAA, Inc. Although several "regular" attendees had conflicts and could not attend, four individuals (Preston Williams, Kate Williams, Harry Weidman, and Bonnie Sortore) participated in their first atlatl event. The West Almond Vigil, the "home" of renegade atlatl, has always been "the place" for youthful atlatlists as witnessed by the current Youth ISAC record established there by Mike Waters - a 91 in 2002. This year five year old Marlin Bassett established not only a personal best, but a Youth ISAC record for 5 and 6 year olds by throwing a 23X. WORLD
